About Me

My name is Erin, and I’m from Kansas City, Missouri, USA. Teaching is a relatively new career change for me, but I have always loved the English language. Since childhood, reading and writing have been integral parts of my life along with a deep curiosity about other cultures.

During the middle of the pandemic in 2020, I decided to fulfill a lifelong goal of living abroad. It was strange timing, but I have loved living in Spain and learning about Spanish history and culture.

I love taking ambling walks around different neighborhoods in Madrid and simply absorbing the scenery and bustling streets, but most of my spare time is spent writing, reading, and traveling. I have published short stories and poetry, as well as book reviews; so, when I’m not teaching English, I’m working to express myself creatively with it.
